When he immigrated here from Poland in 1965 with his wife and kids, his dad gave him one piece of advice before he left… “buy land.” He settled with his family in Sedro-Woolley and went to work on his American Dream. He lived a long and full life but when he was placed on hospice in 2019, there was one thing he hadn’t been able to finish, he handed over 3 file boxes full of paperwork on the land and said, “I don’t want an obituary, I want Bucko Street.” Adolf passed on his knowledge and passion for this dream neighborhood to his granddaughters and with a strong sense of urgency and purpose they developed the land to become “Bucko Estates.”
